About

My story begins in Hyderabad, India, and continues in New Jersey where my family settled in the 90s. Like most first-generation immigrant kids, my culture played a huge part in my upbringing. 

I grew up surrounded by people from all parts of the South Asian diaspora. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indo Caribbean, you name it. And that experience is what made me realize and appreciate just how much we all share in common - our traditions, the flavors we love, the smell of mom’s kitchen, the movie stars we adore, the cultural moments that feel like home. 

Creativity has always been a part of my DNA. And after building a successful corporate career in digital strategy and ecommerce, I wanted to create something of my own that allowed me to channel my creative side while paying homage to the cultural roots that shaped and raised me.

Through my designs, I reimagine the patterns and memories of South Asia - memories that we all collectively share despite where we come from. My hope is for every design to allow each and every one of you to recognize a little piece of yourself, your family, or your story within it.

Because the best memories are the ones we carry with us.
